Rates and Fees
2011 Campsite rates
Campsites without water and electric: $20 per night
Campsites with water and electric: $26 per night
Senior citizens: (60 or older w/verification receive a 10% discount).
Each additional camper over six (maximum of ten people per site):$3 each per night.
Swimming pool fees
Adults: $3
Children: $2
Season pass: $125 family; $80, Adult; $55, Child

Picnic Shelter rates and rental information
Shelters #1 and #2
Rates:
$70/day - weekends and holidays
$35/day – weekdays
Location/Amenities:
Located at the entrance of the park, across from fishing pond on hillside.
Each shelter has a fireplace, single grill, and 6 picnic tables.
Playground area is located across the road near the pond.
Restrooms are located at the bottom of hillside.
Shelters #8 and #9
Rates:
$70/day - weekends and holidays
$35/day – weekdays
Location/Amenities:
Each shelter has water and electric, double grills, and is accessible.
Eight picnic tables available.
Number 8 has a playground area with shelter.
Number 9 has a playground area located across from parking area. Restrooms are centrally located for both shelters.
Horseshoe pits located next to each shelter.
Shelters #3, #4, #5, #6 and #7
Rates:
$70/day - weekends and holidays
$35/day – weekdays
Location/Amenities:
Located at the end of the park just past the campground entrance.
#5 has a fireplace.
Shelters 3, 6, & 7 are handicapped accessible.
Each shelter has approximately six or seven picnic tables, electric, and double grills.
Playground areas are shared and centrally located as well as restrooms.

There are no entrance fees to visit and enjoy facilities at Kanawha State Forest
The shooting range is open to the public at no charge. Posted guidelines must be observed at all times.
